Won't help you with this month's mag but can I suggest a subscription?
I'll pass a message to Ian but I'm not sure what he can do at this late date.

That's really strange, but I'm sure I can help out.
If you send me an e-mail with your contact details. I'll give you a call, take a payment for the cover price on a debit/credit card, and get a copy sent out to you.
Alternatively, if you want to give me a call this Thursday or Friday on the office number: 0207 608 6367, I can take the details and get a copy in the post.
Hope this helps.

That's much too soon for them to have processed it for this month. It might even be to close for the April issue.
When you subscribe they normally give you an idea of when you will get your first issue. Was it by phone or Internet? Did they send you an email confirmation?

Really sorry guys, it would seem that we have had some serious teething troubles in changing over from What Diesel to Diesel Car - it seems to have confused alot of people. I'm told that the issues will be solved by the weekend, so everything is back to normal. KEV - if you want to drop me a line with your details, I'll look into it for you. ian.robertson@dieselcarmagazine.co.ukThanks for your patience everyone - hopefully, the changes will be worth the wait.

This is now becoming ridiculous!
I live in Worcester and work in Birmingham(the 2nd largest city) and so far after trying 5 WH Smiths i havnt managed to find this months mag. I have been a reader for more than 10 years and havnt previously had this problem, What is going on?
I would prefer not to subscribe as i have all of the previous mags stored and in great condition and from experience with other mags that i do subscribe to they often arrive later than in the shops (eg Autoexpress) and in poor condition.

I haven`t bought DieselCar for months, it just isn`t in any of the shops I use and don`t want a subscription because before I buy I like to see it to see if there is anything relevent to me in it.

Thanks for all the feedback - we certainly have had a fair few issues these past few weeks with distribution - I'm pleased to say that they appear to have been solved now.
There have been issues with WHSmith which I can't go into on here. All I will say is that the problems have now been resolved and it will be back in the usual branches when the next issue goes on sale - 14th April 2010.
With regards to davidif's comments, why not ask your local newsagent to get a copy for you - that way, you will get it in the same condition as WHSmith will have it. With Diesel Car subscriptions, you are guaranteed to receive it 3 days before it hits the newsstands - often getting it 5 days before. The subscriber copies get posted out at the same time as the remaining magazines are sent to the distributor, so you are always guaranteed to get it early.
I share your concerns with the condition that Auto Express and sometimes Autocar arrives in - sadly, Royal Mail don't seem to take care of the magazines when they are in the system, so sometimes things happen. I have to say that my Subscription copy of Diesel Car seems to arrive intact - probably helped by the solid binding, rather than it being stapled like Autocar and Auto Express.

Also, this website should help in trying to find your nearest Diesel Car stockist: http://availability.mmcltd.co.uk/If you pick DieselCar from the drop down box and input your postcode, it'll list every stockist. Hope it helps.

Hoping that i am able to buy next issue from the local WH Smiths as i usually do, i wonder what the problem was?
